Hi Sal,

So what can we do to express our concerns and help prevent people from being deceived by the SDA Church?  When my SDA wife first asked me why I go to church on Sunday.  That the 10 Commandments clearly say we are to worship on the Sabbath.  That the Sabbath is Saturday not Sunday.  I remember how confused I was.  I didn’t have a good answer other than that is what the Catholic Church teaches.

The SDA Church and it’s members really enjoy telling people how many members are former Catholics.  I agree with you that if more Catholics (and other Christians) really understood that we are not bound the 10 Commandments as given at Sinai, many of them probably wouldn’t fall prey and leave to become SDA’s.

Had I not met my wife, this would most likely be a non issue for me as it is a non issue for most main stream Christians.  The chances were slim that I would come in contact with an SDA.

I am so glad that I wondered upon this web site and that you are answering questions on this and the SDA site.  You have helped me grow stronger in my faith and trust in the teachings of the Catholic Church and I can’t thank you enough for that!

It is clear Bible teachings that will defeat any cult. That is what we need in order to stop people from being deceived by the SDAs, Mormons, Jehovah's Witnesses, etc. It's true that for most Christians what day one worships on is a non-issue. Education is the key for us Catholics. We have such truth available to us, but most don't care to study.

I'm glad that I was able to help you. I am truly blessed by God to be able to help His children.
