Question
Were the Nephilim offspring of angels or men?

Answer
This is one of those Old Testament references that has elicited various interpretations as to the meaning of the text.  It does seem, however, that the reference is a description of men, not angels, in the period after the Fall.  Just what the word refers to, whether size, behaviour, or some other characteristic, is a matter of debate.
