Catholics/Renewal of Wedding Vows

Question
hi Tom

me and my husband we were married 10 years ago in hall not  church. this was because my husband is catholic and i am not so his priest refused to marry us. My faith has been growing and i have started going to church with him and even considering to be baptized in the catholic church. We are coming up to ten years of marriage and we have decided to renew our vows. i was wondering whether it will be possible for us to renew our vows in the church and have a blessing since we did not do that ten years ago. What will be the requirements if we need to do so. Thank you

Answer
Tracy,

There are no rules to prevent your being able to do this that I know of. If it were me, and you asked me to do it, I would do it. Check with the local pastor. It should not be a problem. This is just a renewal of vows, not an original wedding.
