Question
why do catholics use crucifix (symbolising jesus's death) but celebrate mass on sunday (symbolising jesus's resurection)?
The crucifix within the sanctuary is to remind of the fact Calvary's sacrifice brings us new life, which we proclaim and celebrate at every Mass.
Outsides it use at Mass, it reminds us we are to take up our own cross and follow Him, anywhere, even unto death itself. Amen
