Hi, my name is stephanie keen and I have a question regarding my baptismal records. on my records it shows my mothers name, and the names of my god parents, but where my fathers name should be there are dashes and his name is voided out. what would be the main reason for my dads name to be voided out, i asked him and he was not even aware that his name was not there. and my parents were unmarried at the time, im not sure if thats the reason.

This is an unusual case that you have. If it's possible you should speak to your family who were adults at the time of your baptism. Perhaps they could shed some light on this problem. You can also write or phone the church where you were baptized and ask them why your father's name was voided out on your baptismal certificate.
