Question
Is it ok to drink holy water as a sacramental. i have heard that this is a practice in the Eastern church.

Answer
There are certainly blessings of water associated with the cultus of various Saints, as St. Raymond, which can be drunk.  However, this is not the Holy Water that you are thinking of, which is blessed at Easter and thereafter for the aspersion at the principal Mass on Sundays and for use in the Holy Water stoops at the entrance of a church.
