Mr. Card,

What are the requirements for attendance at mass --- specifically Easter mass --- for a two year old Catholic?  Does the requirement to attend mass apply to two year olds?  If not, at what age does it begin to apply?

If the two year old is indeed Catholic, they should attend.

Personal sin starts comes a reality with coming with the "age of reason" which is around 7 years of age. If the child is sick or you feel you have a just reason to leave them at home, do so.

Yet, remember by bringing the child even at such a young age, will help him to grow in love we the Lord and the Mass by your example and the graces of it.
