Catholics/Maronite consecration

Question
I was wondering if the Maronite rite of consecration is currently the same over the chalice as it is in the Tridentine mass. In particuler i am curious about the phrase "mystery of faith" would you know if they still use the traditional formula?

Answer
I must tell you that I do not have on hand the traditional Missals for all the various Rites of the Mass (and who does?), I do know that there has been some minor amount of variation among the various Rites of the Mass as to the most sacred words of the consecration, but the variation is very slight, and while there might exist some Rite which either omits or displaces the "Mystery of Faith" phrase, perhaps there might be some other aspect of the particular Rite, such as a more clear and explicit epiclesis, for example, that might make up for the deficiency.  Without a bit more knowledge on that, that is as far as I can take it.
Another expert here on Allexperts, "Fr. Michael," might be better able to take you further into this than I can.
Hope this helps, God bless!
