Question
In one of your answers you mention keeping the ten commandments! Since believers are not under law, but grace, why would you put them back under law?
The Law demands righteous behavior. Grace supplies righteous behaviour through the new nature, in the new birth!

Loving God, loving neighbour, and loving self, fulfills the Law! Since believers are to have the LOVE OF GOD spread in their hearts, they are enabled to Love, with the Love of God, thus fulfilling all the Law!

Answer
Bob,
Thanks for your question, or statement.  Tell me more about what you mean when you say, "Believers are not under the law."   I assume you're not saying believers in Jesus Christ are not under Moses & God's laws, right?

You can love neighbor, love self and go out and steal something, be unfaithful to your wife, murder someone and God still cares that you remain faithful to his laws, despite your love, yes?

Yes, grace supplies righteous behavior -- or more, when one is righteous to the Law, more grace flows to him/her, wouldn't you agree?
God bless,
charlie
