Question
Hi Edward,

Something happened to my family and I just two days ago and I wanted to know your whole take on the events that took place, here is my question,

Okay, my parents and I went shopping at a dierbergs store about two days ago and inside I noticed people wearing crosses and even the guy who gets my dad's mail, a young guy, was wearing a cross on his bracelet and as I looked up there was an angel picture of Michael hanging in the store a poster of course but still! Then as we came out of the store I noticed crosses hanging in people's car windows and the car parked next to ours had this huge colored glass plaque of saint Michael vanquishing the devil in the passenger side window. I stared at it for the longest and
told my dad how weird it was to see so many crosses and angel pictures, my mom said it's because of easter and shrugged it off.

Then disaster struck, we were involved in a front end collision when our car as it was turning into the car dealership parking lot, hit this other car on the driver's side as it was speeding past us! But my parents and I weren't seriously hurt and the woman driving the other car just had a bruise on her arm... but does all those crosses I saw before have any direct connection to the accident that happened after, did me seeing the picture of saint Michael mean anything? Coincidence or is god trying to tell me something?

Thanks for the reply!

Answer
Lilly, I do not know how to give you an answer. Given what happened, it is  fortunate that no more-serious injuries resulted.
I am a believer in the effectiveness of God's providence and of prayer.  I often say a short prayer of thanks when unexpected happenings turn out well.  I usually pray when leaving town for a safe car-trip.
So, my suggestion is to say a prayer of thanks to Jesus and St. Michael.
Best wishes for a blessed Easter.
