If there was a technology out there, currently being researched, that potentially had the ability to cure the blind, make the bald hirsute and terminate diabetes or even give the chance for a couple who are dealing with fertility problems or the inability to have children, wouldn’t society want this subject of biotechnological research the cure of the future?

As a Christian what are your views on Embryonic Stem Cell Research? Has the publicity of this particular research affected your views?

dear Allen,
      First Catholics are not again Stem Cell Research in general, we are opposed to all Embryonic at this time. Why? Simple put they are only be harvested from aborted children, at this time. There is also other reason to reject it, first the costs vs. benefits ratio is very bad compared cells used from adults.
