You must be aware that it's all over the net bout certain bands and songs being satanic. How can one differentiate between satanic and non satanic songs and bands? And what if we like a song and do not know its satanic and we are listening to it, does it make us bad? And what if we know and listen to it coz we like it as a song and not coz its satanic.
Another thing is there's a hand symbol for rock, and it is said that it is the symbol of the devil, is that true? Also if one does use this symbol doesn't mean that person is worshiping the devil right?

Dear Nisha,

there is nothing satanic in music, and you can listen to any kind of music you like.
Of course, it is bad for a christian to listen a song which text contains explicitly some blasphemies or offences to God.
This concerns the text of the song, but not the music itself, because the music is not intrinsically sinful or satanic.
And there is no satanic symbol; what may be satanic is only the intention of the person who uses that symbol, but there is no intrinsically satanic symbols. A drawing is only a drawing, and it cannot make you worship the devil.
A person can worship the devil only if he freely and consciously chooses to do that.
