Question
I request your help regarding the documents of Vatican II.
Can you please help me by pointing out the main points of 'Lumen Gentium'  and 'Gaudium et Spes' ?

Answer
In LG, I especialy like chapter 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 8.  1 and 6 are paramount.
IN GS, check part 1, chapter 2, 3, 4; part 2 chapters 1, 2,3, 4, 5.
In other words, it is very difficult to pick a few themes from these two central documents, both of which deserve re-reading and study in detail.
As an over-all theme, I think of the Church as stil relevant today and ready to help all toward salvation through the efforts of all the Church's members in their various roles.
