Question
QUESTION: Pax!
What is the difference between "praying" and "interceding"? and can angels intercede for us?

ANSWER: Hi, Hank...

Praying is the lifting up of our minds and hearts to God in order to praise and worship Him, or to ask of Him a favor.  Interceding is to request the prayer of another on our behalf.  Fellow human beings, living in this world, or those who have gone before us into the life of the world to come can intercede for us; and yes, even Angels can do this for us as they are intelligent beings (persons), though of a different, purely spiritual nature without bodies.

QUESTION: So "intercede pro nobis" and "ora pro nobis" have the same meaning?

Answer
Basically the same meaning, as far as I can tell or distinguish...
Did you have any other particular thoughts or questions on the matter from your own reading and study?
I would be interested to know any thoughts you have on this issue.
Thanks!
