Question
May Catholics celebrate Mother's day and father's day? I know that these holidays are protestant in origin.

In Christ

Marcus

Answer
Yes, if they wish.  They are not Protestant, but secular, in origin.  However, they are not to be celebrated in Church, as they are not liturgical days.  In Church, we worship God as Our Father and venerate the Blessed Virgin Mary as Our Blessed Mother.
