Dear Carlos:

Having images in Church and worshipping those images are two different subjects. Catholics that worship Mary are sinning because the Catholic Church does not approve such worship. We do give Mary honor and respect as the Mother of God.

There is no biblical proof against Christians worshipping on the Jewish Sabbath. St. Paul is extremely clear that in the New Covenant it does not matter what day one wishes to worship on (see Romans 14:5). The New Testament indicates that the first Christians were not fixated on any particular day for worship (see Acts 2:46). Therefore, one may worship on the Jewish Sabbath, but one may not make it a salvation issue since there is no biblical evidence for that either.

The websites that I gave you earlier will provide mountains of evidence against many SDA beliefs. Please review them.

I will not defend sinfulness in the Catholic Church. It is a shame, but sin is in the Church because we are all sinful people. There have been some very sad times in Catholic history because of this sinfulness.

The proof that the Pope is God’s representative on earth is found is Matthew 16:18-19 & John 21:15-17.
