Hi sal,

     I have heard a lot that america is babylon? True or false? I dont know wheather to believe such a thing. I also heard that Iraq is ancient babylon and being rebuild is that true or false.I was wondering if God made this land for christians and if this is the promised land that God has made, is Israel and America both the promised lands and sister countrys? What do you say about halloween should catholic christians celebrate this holiday? An what do you think about false religons is bapist, mormons, Jahovah's witness, Pentecostal, Orthodox churches and others like methodis false religions? An so does that make the Catholics, Jesus' church and bride that he is going to save and not judge people whom are catholic and stayed with him? What do you think about house blessings and religious images in the home is that good does that get rid of evil? My dad said, that a clean home is a godly home and a non clean home is ungodly is that true like picking your mess and things like that? An what about the Gods and Goddesses and stuff! when children learn about it in class and then get sucked in the mythological area and are hooked on it how do you get away from it? An just believe in one God, one Sun, and one HOLY GHOST?

America is not the Babylon of the Bible. America does have some qualities of the old Babylon because we often turn from God in this country, but then so does every other country. Ancient Babylon was in the country of Iraq. Ancient Babylon was rebuilt years ago. God did not make any land for Christians. God did promise Christians a “land”. The land promised is heaven not some land here on earth.  America and Israel are not “sister” countries. Catholics may celebrate Halloween in the proper way that is by emphasizing the importance of remembering our dead and how we can help them through prayer and sacrifices.  Only the Catholic religion is the true religion of God. All others are error filled, man-made religions. They all contain some truth, but it is mixed with much deadly error. Only the Catholic Church has all the truth revealed by God. I have many religious images in my home. My home has been blessed by priests. Your Dad’s saying is a good one, but is not literally true. One can be holy and have a messy house or one may be unholy and have a clean house. The best way to get children away from the myths taught in public schools is to homeschool them.
