Question
I work with someone who I'd call a Christian Fundamentalist. Not that that is a bad thing at all. However, I am Roman Catholic and I hold all the same beliefs I'd assume as Protestants that Jesus is God and is the way to heaven. I know we have some additional beliefs like that Jesus comes dwon from heaven in the Eucharist. Should I feel like I am going to hell like this co-worker sometimes acts or does my relationship with Jesus not depend on whether I believe in the Eucharist or call myself Catholic instead of Protestant. I considered myself born again when I was 13 and was praying for calming of terrible anxiety I suffer and I felt that I was being told that it was the Holy Spirit reassuring me. I still have that feeling now 12 years later.

I wouldn't say we have additional, I would rather say we are different on somethings or the are lacking in the doctrine Christ gave to the Church.
Everyone one has a relationship with God. Some are more closer to Him then others. Catholic believe we are to grow in that relationship daily by prayer, study of the Word and fellowship with other believers.
Also I feel most "Christian" Fundamentalist really are concerned about their Catholic family members/friends. Yet most really don't know or understand what Catholics really believe or practice.  Thats one of the reasons, I decided to start writing answers for this site.

Also I study Franciscan History as means of growing in my lay Franciscan calling to holiness in Christ.
