Catholics/Catholic way

QuestionHi Sal,
The reason why I have been asking you if these visons of the saints are true is that when I was 8 years old I saw the Blessed Mother in the image of Fatima, and she told me to pray the rosary, and after that I saw Jesus at the age of 18 I was in pain with my foot crying and praying to him and ask if he can remove these 5 large planters warts. He did amazingly, they never came back. At 12 or 15 I believe its hard to remember the age it happend, I saw the holy Mother of God she said My daughter go and pray daily an stay with our lord's church (catholic church) and you will see that you are to be a blessed nun/saint. Are these of God and I have seen the Archangel Michael once I was in the cemetry placing roses over my aunt celia she died at a early age 65. An he was just protecting me from what I dont know but I was in awe that he was so big and powerful. If visions are from God then do they have to be with in the Catholic religion no where else? Because you said that Mormons,Baptist, Jahovah witness, and all the others are false man made religions? Is that right? An many other religions try to switch Jesus's birthday around saying that he was born in October 1 and then we say that its wrong its December 25th who is right on the date are the catholics the true christians or the false religions?
AnswerDear Jacqueline:
Your visions are not against the Catholic Church so they may have been true visions. I cannot say for sure, but it is very possible. You have been indeed blessed by God so follow his will. Persons outside the Catholic Church may have true visions, but if the visions are truly from God the Catholic Church teaches will be promoted. A true vision from God will never speak against Catholic truth because that truth is from God Himself. The Catholic Church chose December 25th as Christ's birthday. The Bible itself says nothing about the day. It is debatable if the date of December 25th is the actually date of Christ's birth or not. I think that it is.
God Be With You,
Sal
