Question
I know that Saint Faustina had mystical appearances from Jesus. Are her teachings just as authentic as the bible and fully approved by the Vatican? or ar they still up for debate since she couldn't write well? I admired her diary and therefor pray the Divine Mercy Chaplet. Also, question 2 is are healing masses fully authentic and if unable to attend one, with faith can I pray over myself and allow I am not one who creates miracles, have the possiblity, though its in God's hands, of a healing?

Answer
Hi Michael.

Catholics take the Bible as the Word of God. As far as Private Revelations are concerned we are free to believe or not as we please as Catholics. The fact that Sister Faustina has been made a saint and that her writings have been studied makes them worthy of belief, whether you do so or not is up to your self.

Of course the healing in in God's hands, it always is. I am not sure why a mass seeking healing should not be authentic???
