Question
What is balance between faith and works in the Bible?

Answer
                      Peace

Dear Cugo,
I think it would depend on how you define the key words (faith, works, and balance)of your question? Within a Catholic context faith and Faith could mean different things. With f and F being only difference.
After abit more prayer, I think another way your question might be ask is: How are we saved? Saved has several meanings in scripture, and in general. I share the below,as means of showing them and hopefully answering your question as well.
As Catholics we believe,as the Bible says:
I am already saved(justified by the merits of Christ) (Rom. 8:24, Eph. 2:5-8),but I'm also being saved(sanitifed by the grace of Christ/process of salvation) (1 Cor. 1:8, 2 Cor. 2:15, Phil. 2:12),and I have the hope that I will be saved (eternal) (Rom. 5:9-10, 1 Cor. 3:12-15).
So,like the apostle Paul I am working out my salvation in fear and trembling (Phil. 2:12), with hopeful confidence in the promises of Christ (Rom. 5:2, 2 Tim. 2:11-13)."

I close with these words of Holy Spirit that come via the pen of saint Paul to his fellow Catholic, Timothty. If you are Catholic, I write them in a similiar vain:

" Take heed unto thyself, and unto the doctrine; continue in them: for in doing this thou shalt both save thyself, and them that hear thee." 1 Timothy 4:16

Also I study Franciscan History as means of growing in my lay Franciscan calling to holiness in Christ.
