Question
I am a Catholic who has doubts at times, but I want to be filled with faith. How should I know from biblical and scientific proof that Jesus the Lord was Lord and not like Mohammed the Prophet is to Muslims.
Also, who do Catholics believe Mohammed was and what do we believe his role for God was?

Answer

Dear Michael-
Can you please define what you mean by scientific and biblical? I ask so I can better address your question(s) in terms you understand them.
Catholics consider Mohammed a false prophet. He is not a heretic because to one, he would have had to be Christian first and later renounce some element of the Gospel of Life.
The Quran may have some truths but Catholics already confess them. This is not to say the are equal in God's view. It means they got somethings right and we should praise God for that, and try to use them to bring others, especially Muslims who follow the Quran, closer to The "holy Trinity-one God" and His people the Church.
I will share more on this and other stuff when I recieve your answer to the above questions.
