Question
Growing up, I thought I know pretty much everything there is to know about catholic doctrines.  But I was so wrong, I don't even understand its basics.  I would like to ask you from what did Jesus Christ save us from?  And if he did not come, what would've happened to us?

Answer
                  Peace

Dear Juan
Basicly He came to save us from the  effects of our personal sins and the effects of Adam and Eve's. Guilt was not passed on but  others were. If He didnt come we would be in a "state of limbo" of sort until He came. After He came we would be sent to Hell or Heaven, based if we would have excepted His death of atonement or not if it was presented to us.

I am willing to attempt to answer any question. If I don’t know the answer, I will look-up or pass the question on to friends for feed back. Also I study Franciscan History as means of growing in my lay Franciscan calling to holiness in Christ.
