Question
My boyfriend and I have just got engaged and hope to have a church wedding next year. He is Roman Catholic and I am Church of England. he had hoped that we would have a roman catholic ceremony in an RC church. Please could you let me know the procedure for his. We keep being told different things and would like clarification. Will I need to convert to RC?
Thank you for your time

Answer
Jenny,

You will most definitely not have to convert to Roman Catholicism. You will certainly be able to have your wedding in a Catholic church. What you should do is get in contact with the pastor or parish office of the church where you want the wedding. They can supply you with all the details. Be aware that the Catholic Church requires a minimum of 4-6 months notice. God bless.
