I've been a strong catholic all my 18 years of life and have always been the guy people come to to ask religous questions.  With that being said, Recently one of my friends approached me and asked me a question about mortal sins.   She asked weather or not Frenh-kissing was a mortal sin.  She had heard this from one of her girlfriends fathers.  My first reaction was ofcourse not, but than I started thinking.  I had heard that once or twice before and so I told her that i wasnt sure.  If you could help me with this question so I could help her that would be great.   Thanks, Alex

Somethings are always acts of evil. Is French kissing, one of those acts? To be a mortal sin: an act most be a serious act against God's laws, be done with full consent of the will and the full knowledge of the evil of the act and the act is intended to be done.

With that in mind,I feel you can discern and act accordingly.
