Catholics/Old Testament quote

Question
Hello:

I'm wondering if you can help me. I'm doing an editing project and I have an odd quote used by St. Therese of Lisieux from a prayer she wrote.

In it, she says, "I shall chase the stranger from the Kingdom. I shall make You to be proclaimed King." Of this, Archbishop Sheen says, "Those last words of hers were the words of Joshua when he went into the Promised Land."

I have looked assiduously on several Bible search engines, in Google, and in Joshua itself, and I find nothing even close to this. Does it strike a bell for you? If so, what passage out of Joshua is it quoting?

I suspect it's something Joan of Arc said and is not a Bible quote, but I don't want to note that in a foot- or endnote if it is not accurate.

I would appreciate any help you can give.

In Christ, with warm wishes for the Christmas season,

Brian

Answer
Merry Christmas on this 3rd Day of the Season!!

dear Brian,
Joshua didn't become a King. St. Theresa last words according to my sources are: "I will spend my heaven doing good on earth".
Sheen is a favorite but I think he is wrong or he is misquoted. I agree those words sound more something St Joan of Arc, used to plead with the rightful king of France to do his duty, to take the throne that is lawfully his.
