Question
I wanted to ask a follow up to the question about Sister Fastina and the Chaplet of Divine Mercy. I had thought that the church recognizes that her messages came from Christ. Were you saying that her teachings are part of a forbidden book. I often spread the messages from the Divine Mercy Chaplet and Diary so I didn't want to be telling people false information. I thought that Pope John Paul 2 made Divine Mercy Sunday the week after Easter. When you have a chance just let me know. Also, should I correct people when they say the Chaplet of Divine Mercy and tell them that it comes from a forbidden book.
Thank you and God Bless,
Michael Fannon

Answer
As published, I am answering from the perspective of traditional Roman Catholicism, not from the perspective of the New Order sect.  If you want a private devotion, that to the Sacred Heart much more solidly founded, by many Saints and popes, over many centuries.  It has a Mass, a Litany, and other prayers.  The recent "Divine Mercy" is associated with Protestant Charistmaticism and other undesirable elements.
