Question
Dear Mr.Leal,

you are a nice person. I have a question well a couple again lol. I have a dream of becoming a nun the nuns that you see today that wear a habit are they traditional catholics? I have a spiritual director her name is Sr. marilyn Marie. She is a Franscican Nun. The third order of st. Franscis. She wears a habit and religious clothes. See I want to make a difference in the world this world is sinning beyond my wildess dreams. What can I do to help those and my other question is since we are catholic are we considered Jewish? Since our founder was Jewish? And should women wear skirts to church. I am glad I am on the right path. Is Jesus really returning and we will see him and also is the antichrist a real figure but the spirit is possessing that figure?

Answer

Dear Jacqueline, you have beautiful aspirations. My best advice would be for you to further understand the division between Traditionalist and the post - Vatican II Church. Once you accomplish this you will have a full spectrum and decisions will flow easier. Upon this division I speak of, there have been many changes and upgrades to religious orders for Nuns. Do a little research. I recommend discussing this with both sides of Church and come from a decision from that.

Read some books/articles about Nuns like St. Theresa of Avila, St. CLaire etc...

No we are not Jewish. In short to be Jewish means to be awaitng the Messiah. Our Messiah has come, Jesus, therefore we are now Catholic.

As far as women in Church, the standard recommended form of dress is skirts/dresses 8" below the Knees (not tight), shirts to touch the elbow, neckline 2" max below neck and closed shoes.

Jesus is returning, but not to live on earth for 1000 years. When He comes thats it! we will be judged body and sole.

Aside from visions the AntiChrist is known as a destorted Angel whom we can't see but yes he can possess bodies.

My wife has converted from Baptist to Catholic. We, along with our children have been part of the Society of Saint Pius X for quite some time now. I am very well read and experienced on the subject of Traditional Catholicism and life style.

Education/Credentials
A Traditional Catholic who belongs to the Society of Saint Pius The Tenth (SSPX). SSPX is a Traditional Catholic society founded by Archbishop Marcel Lefebvre after resisting the 1962 Second Vatican Council and the Norvus Ordo (New Mass). SSPX strictly celebrates the original 2000 years old Tridentine, Traditional Latin Right Mass which is said to be "the only valid Catholic Mass". Further the Society only acknowledges Traditonal Catholic apologetics and perspective under the approval of the Pope. "TO PHILOMENA, NOTHING IS REFUSED..." SAID BY OUR BLESSED MOTHER.
