Do you have any info on Weeping Statues? What is your opinion? If you have anything, please send it! Thanks!!!
I really have no special information regarding such statues. Perhaps if one were connected with (as part of) some recognized appirition, that would be of more interest, but as it stands, I have no good reason to doubt that most or all are hoaxes easily created by hoaxers putting viscous fluids in the eyes of the statues when no one is looking.
Perhaps such "weeping" could be taken as a kind of social commentary, as if to say "This saint would weep if he(she) could see what is happening here today." But there are far more legitimate ways to bring out this valid point.
