Question
Hi Sal,

Could you please tell me why some Protestants reject amillennialism and believe in premillennialism instead?  My second question concerns homosexuality.  I believe it is a choice, an adaptation, a tendency, and definitely not genetic.  However, I'm not sure what I believe about heterosexuality.  Is it genetic or is it also a learned behaviour?

Thank you,

Les

Answer
Dear Les:

Amillennialism hold that there will not be a literal 1,000 year reign of Christ. Most of Protestantism rejects this. They hold that Christ will return to hold a 1,000 year literal reign. He will return just before the millennium begins (premillennialism).

Heterosexuality is a genetic behavior programmed into human beings. It was God's design that humans be heterosexual. Thus we read, "Be fruitful & multiply." Something that homosexuals are incapable of.

Have a great day!

God Bless You,
Sal
