Catholics/archeology and the Bible

Question
What is the differences in The Bible and archeology? Are they related some how? Are they any historical facts in the Bible? Where can I find the four big events which people have critize so much in the bible?

Answer
You have asked a question about which many, many volumes have been written.
Two classic books on the subject are:
Kathleen Kenyon, Archaeology in the Holy Land, second edition [London: Benn, 1965].
Yohanan Aharoni, The Land of the Bible [London: Burns & Oates, 1966].
The bible is filled with facts, many of which have independent confirmation from other sources, e.g., the Assyrian attack and retreat from Jerusalem, the capture of Jerusalem by the Babylonians, the administration of Pontius Pilate for 11 years in Judea.
I am not sure what you are referring to regarding "the four big events" critized.  If you would add some more details about what are seeking, I would be pleased to attempt a response.
Again, best wishes, Cugo.
