my boyfriend is a catholic, but he sins and awful lot, well i get annopyed when he says his religion is closer to god, and they will be chosen first, he looks down on religions like baptist, and i grew up baptist, he isnt open-minded to the fact people were given a choice, isnt it right no one is closer to god, god loves everything the same, he loves us as well as the smallest creature and my boyfriend thinks that the pope would be chosen be4 anyone else cause he is the closes person on earth to god, please help me understand if i have th right to think this is wrong to think like this thank you

 Of course you're correct. God does not play favorites. He doesn't love the pope any more than he loves you or me. Or a Muslim or an atheist, for that matter. I think it's ignorant to say that Catholics are "closer to God." What is that supposed to mean? You stick to your guns, honey. He's wrong about this. God bless.
