Catholics/My calling of religious life returned what to do?

Question
Dear Sal,

This expert on this catagory he is from Ireland and he hast said "I don't think seeing images on a door would qualify as a calling. Of you were to tell any religious order that thats why you were thinking of joining they would probably send you to a headshrinker" and quote said the expert of this catagory! Why did he say this to me that was highly rude and mean. I dont think he believes in supernatural things from God and in the miracles from Jesus Christ I mean I think he is a skeptic?

I also pray to Saints, to aid me in delivering my prayers. “The Blessed Virgin Mary is trying to tell us something, and where is our actions taking us…then something appears on a wooden bathroom door I think made of maple wood or oak and all of a sudden  she appears twice on the front with just her and in the side of the other side of the door then her son appears with his suffering image? As I was coming home from my trip in 7/14/07 from Puerto Rico my home Island to visit my family like we do every year. I stumbled on this odd flash when I came home that night from eating out at Charlie Browns with my mom and her boyfriend he picked us up from the airport and surprised us by paying full price for dinner he goes my treat for you two enjoy you need a rest after that trip?  NICE I know my mom said wow hun what happend to you lol. They been together for 10 years my mom wants to marry again Billy is a cop in Fort Lee she may get an ANNULMENT,Is it too late for an annulement?? I am looking for some advise about an annulement. If my mom marries again what can she do to not sin and how can I help her not to feel paranoid about confessing her sins to a priest, she doesnt want to tell her business to anyone. I said Mom you will feel better and feel weight off your shoulders.  And also I am curious is it essential to discuss this issue with a bishop of the catholic church, even so what about communion to women who are divorced? I told her she might be OK if she didn't remarry I just want her to go to heaven and not eternal hell and she should see a priest to talk about it. In such a case, the Catholic woman needs to obtain her bishop's advice right?

Anyhow, the Believers in my family said around the white aura that appears everytime on a holy day of obligation or her feast days even Christmas.I am a catholic, but why would the virgin mary appear on that door years after my apparitions? This was thirteen years later.Virgin is standing hooded, facing east in the door and she appears to be Our Lady of Guadeloupe. What is she trying to tell me Sal, Also is it essential to have a crucifix in every room? Jesus warned us through his saints,Jesus - "Pray and wear your sacramentals. And, also, My children, I ask you again to place a crucifix upon your doors. Both front and back doors must have a crucifix in every room must have one. I say this to you because there will be carnage within your areas, and this will pass you by if you keep your crucifix upon your doors." Converts and reverts to the faith are often unaware of the little things that good cradle Catholics "absorb" as children that make day-to-day Catholic living run smoother. While not as essential to the Faith as doctrinal belief and sacramental participation, these "little things" are the grout that binds the mosaic of Catholic living in place, giving it context and texture. I feel like Jesus has renewed my soul and faith and I feel at peace. The Big Five Intercessors are Saint Joseph, Saint Jude, Saint Anthony, Saint Therese the Little Flower, and Saint Michael the Archangel. Just about every good Catholic relies on them, often daily. Why? They really, really work. Please note: Saint Philomena and Saint Escriva seem to be trying to crack this list in recent years--please give them every opportunity to do so. I am just a curious Catholic young woman I have the calling to become a nun again and this time I feel drawn to Dominican sisters Mother of the Eucharist. Why did this though and feeling come back or return is it a true calling? I though it was because of my depression but now I realize it isnt anymore I need help Sal can you help me with this answer? Happy Thanksgiving.

Answer
Dear Jacqueline:

Some people, even Catholics, do not believe in miracles happening in our time. I agree he seems to have been rude and uncaring towards you. I'm sorry for that.

Seek the advice of a priest concerning the annulment. He will need all possible information about your Mom's previous marriage in order to make an informed decision.

Only you can discern if you have a true calling to the religious life. You do seem to swing back and forth between the married life, the single life, and the religious life.

God Bless You and have a Happy Thanksgiving,
Sal
