Catholics/Questions

Question
Hi, i asked you some questions the other day, and was wondering if you could help me once again. This is the final round of arguments with my friend and I.
1.  The existence of God can be known by human reason.  T or F
2.  Jesus was cleansed from original sin after His baptism in the Jordan River.  T or F
3.  Jesus' earthly life and ministry is recorded in the Old Testament.  T or F
4.  Saint Joseph was the father of Jesus Christ.  T or F
5.  The resurrection took place on Easter Sunday.  T or F

Thanks for your time,
Emily

Answer
Dear Emily:

1. True.
2. False. Jesus was born without original sin. Original sin comes from one's human parents. Since Jesus did not have a human father and Mary was Immaculate, that is, born without original sin, Jesus could not have been born with original sin.
3. False. That is in the New Testament.
4. False. St. Joseph was the foster father of Jesus. Jesus had no human father.
5. True. As was answered in my first set of answers to you.

Thanks for the questions and do not hesitate to ask any more questions that you may have.

God Bless You,
Sal
