I've always wanted my church wedding, however for personal reason me and my fiance haven't been able to marry by law, would we be able to marry in catholic church without doing it by law. I also wonder if it would be appropriate to marry in church because we already have two children together.

Dear Angie,

I do not think the fact you have two children can represent an  obstacle to a catholic marriage.
The obstcle could be the case of a preceeding valid marriage.
However, some marriages are not considered as valid marriages by the Catholic Church, even if they were considered as valid marriage by the civil law.
I think you should talk to a priest; he would analize your situation and give you a complete answer.

PS I think that faith cannot come only from logic, because to have faith in God means to trust and love God.
I think however that logics and science prove the existence of our soul and the existence of  God and that there are many rational arguments strongly supporting the christian faith.
