Dear Mr. Card,
How does one become excommunicated?  I would formally like to end my relationship with the Church, and I thought this would make it official.  Would I talk with my former parish, or should I go straight to the Vatican?  I'm not sure where to start or if this is even possible.  Any help you could provide would be appreciated.

  I admit this is simplest question i have been ever asked,but before I answer I would like you do a few things.

First, Pray for wisdom to fullfil my second request.

Second, write me a private email explain why you want to leave. Why, in case you have a bad understanding of a doctrine or practice of the Church. write me here:

Four If in clear conscience after doing so write me again,i will eplain what I feel would the proper way for you to leave the Church. Much to my and the Church's sorrow and promised prayers of well being.
