Hi sal,

  Your a big help to me with the questions that I ask and dont understand half the time. Anyways I have a major question to ask you In highschool I was picked on called names pushed and even locked in a freezer for God sake. These Kids were mean too me very mean anyways I was sexualy assaulted by this guy in Highschool he said he wanted to so me something in my innocent mind I believed him thinking that he did which was stupid. I was only 17 at the time and he forced him self on me and I tried to get away but he threatened me. I was in shock and in tears. I was wondering does God forgive this type of sin? or is it a sin. I pleaed with the LORD and I said have mercy on me I was crying so much that I was hoping that he heard me in heaven. I prayed all the time I am 20 now and I am still praying and afraid of dating which I never did in my life and I am afraid of the word sex and I now have a phobia because of that. Does God forgive the person whom hurt me sexually and physically?

I'm sorry to hear that you had such a rough time. I hope that things are much better now. The sexual assault is certainly not a sin on your part. You did not sin since you did not want to have sex with this person. Since you were forced God does not see that as a sin for you. I do not know if God has forgiven the other person. He did sin and must repent of his sin and ask God's forgiveness. If he will do this then God will forgive him.
