Question
Thanks a bundle for ur time Fr,
I have come to the conclusion that jesus in the gospels is God. Theirs one thing stopping me, did Jesus really exist, what SOLID proof can i find that proves that the jesus of the bibles was alive? And whats the sin against the Holy Spirit that cant be forgiven? (whats blaspemy exactly?) If you cant answer these 2 questions quickly please take your time i dont care when i get a response i just hope i can get one. Thanks again father, Barrett

Answer
There are extra-biblical sources, from the secular sources, which speak of Christ, including the Roman historian Tacitus and the Jewish-Greek historian Josephus.  There are also references in the Jewish writings of the time.

The sin against the Holy Ghost is persistent and obstinate rejection of God and His grace.  Sanctifying grace, and therefore salvation, cannot come into a souls that obstinately, willingly, and knowingly rejects God.
