Question
Without a dought i belive in god. But who can really say they are right and have the correct interpretation of the bible. I see were the bible say not to worship idols. and I have seen were it says to keep the Sabbath. I was raised as catholic but I have allot of friends of other faiths. And for the most part the only thing they can agree on is that there is only one god but each claims they are the only true church. And how can any minister preach the word and be certain he is right.

Answer

Christ promised the Church would never fail in its holy mission to proclaim the Gospel. He entrusted the task to the Apostles and their successors.
Catholic believe that they are in visible union with those successors. If you want more details as to why we believe this I can share more with you or you can view  some of the writings at www.catholic.com
