Question
what is moral theology?

Answer
Moral theology is the study of God's revelation and of human reasoning to determine both in theory and in practice what is the right and the wrong of human activity, whether in thought, desire, or action.
Its importance comes from the emphasis of Jesus on doing what is right in order to attain one's own potential and eternal happiness.
