Question
Hello,

How are you today. I was trying to figure out where and when did the Preterist doctrine come about and was it ever a part of Catholic eschatalogy. Thank you for your time and wisdom.

Dear Micheal
I believe some forms of Preterist is contratry to Catholic doctrine and some forms are not. Note please I said doctrine not theology.
The events in the bible might have happened such as the destruction of the temple but a prophecy might be what call circual. (spell right?) that it might have more than one application.
End Times and End of the World are two different concepts in Catholic doctrine and theology. Most Protestant sects/communities see use them interchangablly.
