Question
Hello!

Could you tell me in what way Buddhism is different form Catholicism? Everyone is favoring his own religion over another, but, in your opinion, is Buddhism a bad religion? Are there many differences? Do you have any thoughts on this?
Thank You!

Answer

Dear Luke
Buddhism is philosphical system, Catholicism is a religious system.Zen Buddhism is religious system.
I am not vary familiar with Buddhism. Pope John Paul 2 wrote a book called: Crossing the Threshold. A chat friend who was a Buddahist read it said it had some really good explainations of some buddahist concepts and how they different from the catholic view. It lead him read more Catholic theology and later to become Catholic.
I read the book loved it but dont recall that part but check it.

Also I study Franciscan History as means of growing in my lay Franciscan calling to holiness in Christ.
