Question What christen denomanations celebrate the holy time of lent?
Answer Peace
Dear Brandon
First, in case you didn't know Catholics don't consider itself a denomination. Its "protestant" concept that promotes division.
The other religious Christian communities that observe Lent best to my acknowledge are some types of Methodist, even some Lutherans ( which makes no sense in light of their other teachings)and the various type of Eastern Orthodox.
Eastern Catholics and Eastern Orthodox however call it the Great Fast. Eastern Catholics and some Eastern Orthodox start on the Monday, what we call Ash Wednesday.
