AnswerWhat God wants is that you seek Him for your answers not this or that mere person. Perhaps God wants you to stand more on your own two feet, so He has taken her from your life to give you a chance to grow. I know it is painful, as all true growth tends to be, but in the end it is for the best.
When your whole spiritual life gets wrapped around one person, such that you look to them for all your answers and guidance and even the small things, an unbalanced spiritual life must necessarily be the result.
It is time to find another teacher, one who can take you beyond what this lady was able to convey, for otherwise she would draw you to herself and keep you there, instead of truly drawing you to God.
Life is full of new friends. While it is good to make friendships last long, sometimes they simply cannot, and when they cannot there is nothing to be gained and much to be lost by refusing the new friends God has for you out of some sort of misplaced loyalty for the old friends who are no longer accessible.
Mourn the friendship you had with her, of course. Have a good cry, if necessary. But then pull yourself together and get on with your life. Seek new friends.
