Question
Would wishing you were dead be considered a sin?

Answer
Dear Greg:

I do not believe that wishing you were dead would be a sin. There are many reasons why someone would say such a thing. My experience is that the person who says that has strong emotional feelings such as depression or sorrow. In such a case no sin would be incurred.

God Bless You,
