My cats poop in the garage on a cement floor.  I have cleaned it completely but they just keep covering the floor.  What is wrong with them?

Hi Theodore,

Cement is porous. Even though you cleaned the area the cement most likely has the scent of the cat's feces. They are covering it because they still smell it. You need to get a really good enzymatic cat waste cleaner. Pour this stuff on the cement and let it sit for a bit. Then clean it off. This should do the trick.

Do you have litter boxes there? If you do and they are pooping outside the boxes you might want to take them to the vet for a checkup. Cats usually are clean. If there is a change in litter habits it is usually a sign that something is wrong with them. Get them checked out. Good luck.

And yet I choose not to attack you. If I don't act right then have me checked to see what is wrong. Please take care of me when I grow old. You too will grow old. On the difficult journey, on the ultimate difficult journey, go with me please. Never say you can't bear to watch. Don't make me face this alone. Everything is easier for me if you are there.
