my cat urinates on my new rugs, bought months apart, different rooms

In my introduction I ask peole to provide as much detail as possible when asking a question. Your question does not even state how old your cat is, how long the probem has been going on or any information that would help me answer your question! In the future please provide a lot more details.
Cats generally urinate outside the litterbox due to a medical condition or because they don't like the litter box. The following article answers your question:
