Question
Almost 3 months ago I moved in with a male roommate who has a male cat.  I have a calico and male tabby.  Before I moved my calico was always sitting by me and always around.  She won't even go into the same room with my roommate & fights w/ the roommates male.  She spends all her time in the basement and only comes out to sleep w/ me.  I miss her please help!  Thank you

Answer
Hi Kim,

It can be very difficult to get cats to get along if they are not introduced gradually, and even then sometimes there will be personality conflicts. It can take a long time for the cats to get used to eachother, but try re-introducing them gradually following these directions:

And get some of the Feliway spray sold in pet stores, spray it around the house on doorways and furniture every 3 days.

Good luck!
