Cats/Kitten is not very active

Question
I just got a new kitten a few days ago. She is a mixed female. I'm a little worried about her health. She sleeps almost all day, i know cats sleep a lot, but she sleeps from morning till like 9pm sometimes. She does get a little more active late at night, of which she will walk around my room or the house and play with things. I'm just worried because i thought kittens were supposed to be a little more active than that. Everything else seems fine, she has no diarrhea or vomiting, she eats and drinks plenty, and her weight seems fine, as well as her eyes and fur. Am i worrying to much?

Answer
Hi
well this does sound strange as kittens are normally very active.

the best advice i would give is hat you should get her thouroughly checked by a vet as soon as possible. You never know she may have some genetic condition or even a virus and if so then the sooner treated the better.

best wishes Kate
