Question
I brought my black 3 yr.old, neutered male cat to our new apt.at night, and 6 hours later he got outside.  He's been gone for 16 hours.  No collar, no I.D I've gone all over calling his name, no luck.  What are the chances he'll return?  We love each other.

Answer
Hi
yes it is quite possible that they will return. cats can go missing for days even weeks and still return.

I have written a web page about this subject for more information

I hope you find your cat soon
